Submission Guide

What is eligible for publication?
We’re looking for original work by members of the Clark community that demonstrates a passion for the literary world and talent for writing. Submit a piece written for class or pleasure, review a local event or exhibit, or look out for our “call for submission” prompts. Along with all forms of creative writing, we’ll also accept various nonfiction genres (click here for a guide to nonfiction forms)..

Editing Process
It is recommended that students receive notes on their work from either a Clark faculty member or the Writing Center (schedule an appointment here). Submissions under consideration without this formal critique are subject to edits from the Clark Writes Board of Editors.

Submission
Please send submissions to clarkwritesblog@gmail.com

Attach work as a PDF or Microsoft Word document, and in the email body include your name, class standing, major/minor, and a short description of yourself and your submission.
