Roses are red; violets are blue. We need crappy love poems so we’re asking you!

The sometimes-infamous yet much-celebrated Valentine’s Day is only a week away, which means we have seven days to celebrate with unapologetic corniness. We’re asking you, our beloved readers, to send us your sappiest, cheesiest, unadulterated emotions of pining love and crushing rejection in the form of poetry. We want to feel your pain, your passion, your pleasure—in any form you see fit. Send your haiku, sonnets, free-form verse or an impassioned video clip to english@clarku.edu or in the comments section below by Friday, February 13th. We’ll compile our favorites and publish a compilation post to keep y’all company this Valentine’s Day.
